Explore Our Global Impact

Over the course of 25 years God has grown Restore Small Groups beyond Nashville, TN. What once was a small, direct service nonprofit, grew to a global ministry thanks to the power of digital groups. While most of the world was shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Restore Small Groups was bringing hope and healing through a computer screen. We have grown to 13 countries. Our books are now in 9 languages, and the reach is countless. Over the past several years, we have trained facilitators that continue leading Restore Small Groups globally in rehabilitation centers, prisons, universities, churches, YMCAs, and community groups. It is because of the many partners and faithfulness of our community that hope and healing is accessible.

Stories From Restore’s Global Ministries

  • Albania

I visit 4 days a week with 5 volunteers to three different groups of people. First prison is in Durres Albania, the same city where I live. The other one is in Rrogozhine Albania, 40 km away to south of Albania. In Durres prison, we have around 25 man, and we meet them every Tuesday and Thursday. We do bible study, sports and church meetings. In Rrogozhine prison we have two groups of people, each group with 12-15 mans. Wednesday first group and Friday the other group. First we built relationship with them, and then we share the gospel and those whom believe attend church meetings and bible study. So every week I meet approximately 50 man's.

I had the opportunity to attend one of the weekly sessions led by Beatrice, our dedicated volunteer. What I saw was truly powerful—these women, many of whom have suffered deeply, are finding their voice and beginning to heal. Some shared stories of the emotional toll of raising children with disabilities, which often led to rejection and even divorce. Others have faced sexual harassment that shattered their marriages. Despite these challenges, the support and space provided in these meetings is helping them rebuild from the inside out. Beatrice has been instrumental in guiding them through this process, offering not just empathy but practical tools for healing. These sessions are more than just gatherings; they are lifelines for these women, and it’s crucial that we continue to provide and support this space for their recovery.

  • Ukraine

It is our great privilege to partner with Metanoia Ukraine and the good work they are doing to help Ukrainians in the midst of profound struggle. As they face the atrocities of war, we hope this helps individuals process the traumas and losses that have been catapulted into their lives. We love our friends in the Ukraine and are happy to support them by providing 200 Ukranian translations of Journey to Freedom. We stand with Ukraine! 💛💙💛
