The Church is a vital partner in hope in healing the wounds of our community. Likewise, the church is also a place full of hurting people. Restore Small Groups loves to come along a church as they deepen the impact of their existing small groups, or perhaps begin the culture-shift that small groups can create.  In partnering with churches, Restore Small Groups has done the following:

  • Church-wide studies, with corresponding teaching, sermon notes, blogs and multimedia, and facilitation trainings
  • Connecting your church resources and missions teams with local non-profits running Restore Small Groups, to give support through volunteerism, space and other vital needs
  • Caring for a specific niche of your congregation (youth, grieving, parents, crisis)

“Restore Ministries is greatly impacting our Church and community. We are still in the beginning stages of offering Journey to Freedom yet we are already witnessing the excitement of lives being changed. Those who are going through the Journey are telling others and they are asking when we can offer more groups. I believe the possibility is limitless and this is going to grow exponentially. God bless you and thank you for bringing Restore to our Church and Community. “- Pastor Nathan Wilkerson, Parkers Creek Baptist Church, Burns, TN.

Parker’s Creek Baptist Church has been a critical connection with Restore’s existing work with The Belize Project in South America. Once connected, Parker’s Creek has taken several missions trips to Belize to establish Journey to Freedom Small Groups in Belize Central Prison. To date, upwards of 700 inmates have completed the program, with over 100 inmates trained to be facilitators—this is work that Restore couldn’t do without the resources and love of Parker’s Creek and their selfless staff and volunteers.
